With the Peak District National Park on our doorstep, carpeted with a sea of beautiful heather moorland, wildlife and unspoilt rolling countryside views, strolling out with our alpacas seemed a natural and calming thing to do, and it definitely helped to sooth the soul!
Interacting with nature can be not just enjoyable, but also beneficial to our mental health and wellbeing, aspects of our health that are particularly important to look after.
Across multiple studies, researchers have found a fascinating link between access to green space and improved mood. The interaction with animals and nature has been found to increase life satisfaction as well as reduce stress, increase physical activity, and promote better physical health.
